Here's a closer look at the "smaller" Parota cross-cut slabs that just arrived last week (see lower left in image)

We have 10 of these slabs left (two have already sold)

All measure roughly 4" thick x 36-44" in diameter ($750/each, buy 2 or more and get 10% off!)

We've checked the moisture level on a few of them and they all seem dry and ready to finished.

Parota: Acacia-like appearance at an economical price!

A couple of years ago @archdigest showcased the homes of George Clooney and Cindy Crawford which included several detailed photos of Parota cabinetry and furniture. Ever since that issue, it seems as though the demand for Parota slabs and lumber has increased immensely in both residential and commercial projects and we are finding more and more clients choosing Parota over more traditional woods such as Walnut and Mahogany.

HUGE Parota round discounted by roughly $1500 OFF during this weekend's SALE! This thing is massive (6.5-7" thick x 58-77" in diameter!)

As you can see in the image a section broke off while the slab was being shipped up from our sawmill in Mexico.

This could be easily glued back together but we think it is a perfect opportunity to get a little more creative and possibly inlay some glass (see image to the right as an example), add some butterfly joints, etc.

Any other ideas on how this slab could be put back together???
