We know it's not usually everyone's first choice when it comes to woodturning but Parota does turn surprisingly well if the right tools and design are used.
Parota is a favorite among our customers who are looking to make large shallow platters and who constantly need blanks 12" and wider in diameter (which is typically hard to find in other exotics.)
We remember years ago a client turned a dish about 2" thick x 24" round out of a small slab of Parota, it was pretty impressive!
