This latest load of Balsa has us thinking of the time master shaper Rich Harbour dropped by the shop to pick up some wood for his limited run of 50th anniversary surfboards!

It was pretty neat getting to watch Rich dig through the lifts, picking out specific pieces of Balsa with the perfect balance of size, weight, figure and rocker.

Its amazing how much you can learn by just watching master craftsman like Rich do what they do best.
