This massive log came up from our sawmill in Mexico a few months ago.
Just look at the size of this thing!
Measuring roughly 15.25" x 14.25" x 99", there is nearly 150 board feet in this log alone!
As a comparison, look at the "average" sized Cocobolo logs stacked on the forklift behind this piece. This should give you a good idea of how rare this piece really is.
Now with Cocobolo listed on CITES, pieces of this size are going to be nearly impossible to find in the USA.
Mitch Talcove, owner of TEH, is thinking of adding this piece to his personal collection but is willing to let it go for the right price.
