In case you are curious, here is some information on the 400 LF of teak decking we were able to get a hold of a few years back-
- Commissioned in 1919, decommissioned 1947, scraped 1959
- Attacked & sunk at Pearl Harbor in 1941, raised and repaired a year later, used in WWII and Korea
- This teak was cut almost 100 years ago!!!
We love finding unique and interesting stashes of wood such as this teak decking!
Hopefully one day some of this stock will end up in a museum of some sort for future generations to appreciate.

Here are some samples of this unique stock that will be personally hand delivered to a few of the memorials in Honolulu during the Christmas break.
