Cocobolo thin stock at discount prices!...
Sometimes when we have to do some custom milling for an order, we are left with a bunch of thin pieces that are just begging to be used for some kind neat project.
Jewelry, intarsia, boxes, etc. These pieces are just too nice to go to waste!
Right now we have about 10 bundles of cocobolo made up of pieces ranging from 3-4 inches wide, 12-24 inches long and roughly 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Each bundle is about 5 BF and we are pricing it at well below our normal retail price! ($14.50 compared to $22.00 regular price)
Give us a call if you want more exact specifications on what we have available. Again these are neat little packs of wood that we normally do not carry!

Parota counter top by Rachel and Artie Fives...
Rachel just emailed us these great images of her recently completed Parota counter top she constructed with her husband Artie.
Both Rachel and Artie did all the slab preperation (filled all the checks/voids with epoxy, sanded the slab, plumbing/electric/heating, sink/faucet prep etc.) and had a local company (Cook Painting) apply 11 layers of Sherwin Williams Pre-Cat laquer as a finish.
(click here for more information on this finish)
It never gets old looking at pictures of finished pieces using our wood and speaking with happy customers!

Like the look of our Parota slabs?
We just received about a dozen new table top Parota slabs direct from our own sawmill in Mexico!
Click here to see all the new slabs listed on the "Slabs Page" of our website.

The shop expansion is coming along!
The additional four lumber racks are into our new space and just need to be secured before we can start filling them with new stock.
These will allow us to double our inventory of exotic lumber!

We are back from the holiday break & the shop is now open...

Just a quick reminder that we have reopened the shop and will be responding to everyone who contacted us during the break as soon as possible.
On a side note:
We are happy to announce that we have taken over the unit next to our current location which will allow us to nearly double our inventory of exotic species from around the world!
We have been busy working during the holiday break installing new lumber racks and moving around stock...
Below are some before and after pictures of the new space. We can't wait to fill it up with slabs, lumber and other neat pieces of wood!
Here is a picture of our new space before the break and after we installed the new lumber racks:

The south wall is going to be our new "Slabs Area" where we will be displaying our large inventory of tabletop slabs.
This wall is well over 100 feet in length, can you imagine how many slabs we will be able to fit?!

Speaking of tabletop slabs, here is a picture of about 10 new Parota slabs we received before the break. We will be adding them to our website shortly so make sure to click here to sign up for our newsletter to receive an update once they have been posted.

It should be an exciting upcoming year here at Tropical Exotic Hardwoods!
